Year after year we take in and care for on average 1,600 – 1,700 dogs and cats. The staff and volunteers work tirelessly and creatively to save every life we can. Every day we manage 37 dogs and 70 cats in the kennel. We are a small facility and that leaves dozens in foster and a waiting list to come in.
Our shelter is built on compassion: the compassion of those who do the work and the compassion of those who support the work we do.
In 2025 we cared for 1,754 dogs and cats and with your help saved 97% of those lives! This mission doesn't stop and neither will we!
Our Mission
To provide temporary care and safe shelter for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats.
To engage all available resources to rehome all healthy adoptable dogs and cats in an effort to minimize euthanasia.
To educate the community on the prevention of animal cruelty and the importance of spay/neuter.
