The Sexual Assault Resource Center's mission is to support survivors of sexual violence through advocacy, counseling, and crisis intervention and work to end sexual violence in the Brazos Valley. The Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) was founded in 1983 and has served thousands of survivors across the seven-county region. In 2021, we served over 360 survivors through our programs and presented to over 15,000 people on education and awareness efforts to ultimately stop sexual violence. In 2022, SARC has seen a 60% increase from last year for demand of services.
